PUMA Showtime Pack 2026: World Cup Cleats Inspired by 2014 Tricks

PUMA’s Showtime Pack was designed to be impossible to miss at the 2026 World Cup. Tropical pinks, oranges and blues cover FUTURE 9, ULTRA 6 and KING 20, while the left and right boots deliberately do not match. For longtime boot fans, that visual idea immediately points back to one of PUMA Football’s most memorable tournament moments: the 2014 Tricks Pack.

The 2014 Tricks idea returns for another World Cup

At the 2014 tournament in Brazil, PUMA created a defining look by putting its contracted players in differently colored left and right boots. The concept turned a simple mismatch into instant television recognition and became part of the visual memory of that World Cup. Twelve years later, Showtime brings the idea back for another tournament in the Americas.

Tropical colors built for the 2026 stage

The new collection does not reproduce the old boots directly. Instead, each modern silo receives a tropical-inspired interpretation using high-visibility pink, orange and blue tones. The mismatch creates movement before the player even starts running and helps PUMA separate itself in a World Cup where several major brands chose bright pink-heavy palettes.

FUTURE, ULTRA and KING keep separate identities

FUTURE 9 remains the creative and adaptive-fit option, associated with players such as Neymar Jr., Kai Havertz, Morgan Rogers and Weston McKennie. ULTRA 6 is the speed specialist, worn by players including Memphis Depay and Cody Gakpo. KING 20 completes the collection with the touch-first identity connected to PUMA’s deepest football heritage.

Our Showtime selection focuses on adult top-tier versions across several outdoor soleplates. The real reason the pack deserves attention, however, is historical: PUMA did not simply choose bright World Cup colors. It revived a signature tournament design language that first became famous in Brazil in 2014 and translated it to the brand’s 2026 generation.
