Manchester City 26/27 Away Kit by PUMA Features Bold Black and Yellow Worker Bee Design
PUMA and Manchester City have unveiled the club's 26/27 Away Kit, introduced during the men’s preseason tour in Hong Kong. This striking kit centers on the iconic Manchester bee, a long-standing symbol of the city representing hard work, unity, and resilience.
The design features a bold black and yellow colorway, with a swarm of worker bees integrated throughout the jersey. This visual identity reflects both the energy of the away supporters and the spirit of Manchester’s streets, emphasizing a deep connection between the club and its community.
To honor the significance of the Manchester bee, PUMA collaborated closely with Manchester City Council to ensure the symbol’s respectful and authentic inclusion. This partnership highlights a shared commitment to the city and its people.
The Authentic jersey is crafted from PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which is ultra-lightweight and precision-woven to allow unrestricted movement and high-level performance. It incorporates dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technologies to manage moisture and regulate temperature, and is made with at least 50% recycled materials.
The Replica version offers the same visual identity for fans, designed with a casual silhouette suitable for both match days and everyday wear. It uses RE:FIBRE technology, made from 95% recycled polyester sourced from textile waste.
This kit launch is part of the “Built for This City” campaign, which also includes a full collection featuring Prematch, Travel, King, and Culture apparel. The 26/27 Away Kit made its global debut on July 30th in Hong Kong and will be worn on the pitch for the first time on August 1st against Inter Milan.
For Manchester City supporters, this kit not only delivers performance and style but also embodies the pride and resilience that define their city.
