The PUMA Unleashed Pack was more than a late-2025 color refresh. Released in November as the brand prepared for 2026, it introduced two important new chapters at once: FUTURE 9 and KING 20. ULTRA 6 completed the trio, giving PUMA a fresh performance lineup built around creativity, speed and touch.
FUTURE 9 evolves PUMA’s adaptive-fit idea
FUTURE has long been PUMA’s boot for creative players who want flexibility and lockdown without feeling restricted. FUTURE 9 continues that approach with FUZIONFIT construction and GripControl Pro, designed to adapt around the foot while giving the upper more grip during close control, dribbling and passing.
The silhouette also reflects PUMA’s continued investment in women-specific fitting. Selected Women’s Fit versions are built around the anatomy of the female foot rather than simply shrinking a unisex last, an approach that has become increasingly central to PUMA Football.
KING 20 brings a legendary name into a new era
KING is one of the most historic names in football boots, associated across generations with players such as Pelé, Johan Cruyff and Diego Maradona. KING 20 does not try to recreate a leather boot from the past. Instead, it carries the touch-first philosophy forward through modern materials and a cleaner performance shape, allowing the heritage name to function in today’s faster game.
ULTRA 6 keeps speed in the lineup
ULTRA 6 provides the direct counterpoint. Lightweight construction and an aggressive outsole are designed for acceleration and open-field pace, making it the speed specialist of the collection. Together, the three silos give Unleashed a clear logic: FUTURE for creativity, ULTRA for speed and KING for touch.
Our Unleashed selection focuses on adult top-tier models across firm ground, artificial grass and selected mixed soft-ground configurations. The key story, however, is the timing: this was the pack that introduced PUMA’s new FUTURE and KING generation before the 2026 football calendar truly began.
